got a buddy that has 10,000 acres fenced. i see nothing wrong with that. almost like the u.s. being surrounded by water. but to fence a couple hundred acres is unfair.

To me, the essence of hunting is the wildness of the game. Penning them takes that away.

No one owns an animal not even the state. They are free roaming that is why limits still apply on private land. Fish are not free roaming, if they are in a private pond on private property, the fish belong to the land owner. A deer can cross a property line but a fish can not. Get the picture.

Once you build a high fence what is in there is there. You can not open it up to drive more game in there. You can not import native game in to put in your high fence. In other words you can go to Illinois and buy a brood buck and import him into Mississippi.

having 10,000 acres fenced in is one thing but fencing in a few hundred is rediculous, i really think that should be regulated, i know you can not keep a person from fencing in his property but they could make a law saying you could not hunt property that had a high fence that was under a certain acerage
