After owning about 20 pairs of these, you might call me an expert.
I sold them on the beach in Florida back in the eighties, and owned really more than I can count. I am pretty rough on sunglasses and have returned countless damaged ones for a repaired or new pair. Out of at least 20 pairs, I have paid for maybe three. I have sold and converted many friends to Costas in return. They are a great product.
Several years ago when the Memphis Sports went out of business, I bought a pair of Ocean Waves fishing glasses, reduced from $140 to $40. I broke them after about 6 years and returned them the same day I returned a pair of Costas. I had to include $6 with the Costas and waited several weeks for my replacement. My Ocean Waves came in the mail in just 6 days and didn't cost me anything. These are not a stylish pair of glasses, but are great for sight fishing.
