I just went to Benny's Forum to see what all the uproar was about and I did post on the forum. But it seems as if Benny will not allow the replies to post until he goes over them. This guy screams about censorship but what does he do when you POST on HIS site, the reply does not post as it does here. Shows you what kind of intelligence this guy has. I'm sorry I ever replied to a post from him here on MSDucks. I deal with scum like him everyday and I sure as hell don't want to deal with him while I'm here or in the woods.

If it had been the first time, it wouldn't be that bad, but it's about the fourth time in four years that he was out of line.

I'd prefer that he not have the opportunity to do it again.

There's alot of history here, and history repeats itself unless you learn from it.

First, you say how you come to this site for fun and don't want anyone threatening or bashing anybody.

Next, you go to Benny's website and threaten and bash him.

Then, you come back here and bash Benny.

For a guy that dosen't agree with or want to be bashed, you sure do enjoy dishing it out.

HDC, I wouldn't have said what I said about Benny if he would allow the posts to be posted immediately like they are here instead the posts are delayed and for what other purpose other than to allow him to read them before anybody else does or to edit them. Yes the posts were delayed, and that shows you what kind of coward he is. Black is black and white is white the way I see it. There can be no alternative.
And as you can see Benny did not respond to my posts like he normally does which reinforces the fact that when he is faced with the facts he can't seem to respond at all hiding behind "It's over their heads".
I really don't want to get into it with you, Benny or anybody on this forum but my one or two posts to Benny versus all his posts to everyone else doesn't at all constitute a bashing to me. But your view is your view and I respect that.

And please quote where I threatened Benny on my posts? I can't seem to find it anywhere or maybe you know more about the law than I do.

I would not compare Benny to Manson or Osama.
I guess I don't know much about the history of personal e-mails between ya'll.

I really thought that Benny was trying to ask for forgivness in his own way.

I do know that you are a better man than I.

If someone did make a serious threat against my family I would more than likely be in jail right now. I would elimanate the threat. What ever it took to protect my sweet baby girls.

I also think this post should be deleted. If the things are true. Then ya'll shouldn't have to explain anything to me.

RB, You are right. No threats, just bashing. I stand corrected. Still, why the bashing? What did he ever do to you? If you are so appauled by Benny's antics, why engage in the bashing?

And one more thing......what does "the law" have to do with anything? No one is claiming you broke any law.

As for threats against a man's family, I wouldn't put up with it either. If it was my website, no one that threatened my family would be allowed to post.

And yes, I probrably do know more about the law than you do, RB. So bring it on Law Dog!

Benny never bothered me and I always thought that everyone could make their own decisions about getting into a debate with him. I did it when he was Lacuna and we finally saw eye to eye...I think. I do think that he has a good perspective on some things and I do like his advice on duck food, blinds, and how to get things done. The guy is smart....maybe off keel at times, but smart.

Regardless - Micah runs this show and calls the shots. Threats aren't cool - no matter what. Benny is a click away if anyone needs him. I wish him the best.

No doubt we'll see him again! He's a pretty good forum hacker too!

Well...there's a whole lot of history here....about 5-years. benny has come bback to "play by the rules" a number of times after being asked to cool it. He always plays nice for a little while, but he will eventually lose it and start rambling on about Christianity, capitalism, and all of the other evils of the world.

The decision was made last September, not today. It's a strange coincidence that Benny chose to come back while I was away. Moderators do not have the ability to revoke posting priviledges.

I'm not banning him now...that was already done. I'm just enforcing the decision made over 10 months ago.

I appreciate everyone's concerns, and I hope that you can understand my position.

Well, I guess I'll be the second person to stand up and say that I disagree with the decision to revoke his privileges again. He didn't do anything wrong this time, nor the last time. I understand that you are doing this because of threatning emails, and that you took them seriously, but I don't think you should have, even though I don't know what was in the emails.

Hell, we weren't having any informative discussions til Benny came back, it was slow as molasses in here. We had a couple of people who requested help with planting food for ducks with very little help given. Benny offered the info they needed to plant and maintain their millet. With the exception of a few people on this board that know about planting and such, he can give the necessary information at the right time to help someone out.

I will honestly say that I don't believe that this situation would've risen again. I think he realized that those topics shouldn't be discussed here anymore and leave it at that.

You know there are a lot of ways to slice this up, Benny has done this Benny has done that. Granted he occasionally comes out of left field. He has come so far out of left feild sometimes that he has burnt quite a few bridges over the past. Unfortunatley I no longer have the time to read everything everyday like the good ol' days when I was in college. So I haven't read all of what Old Salty/Benny has said. However I do realize a few things. First off this is Micah's board and he has the final say in anything. I learn a lot from Benny, and will continue to learn stuff from Benny, because sometimes when someone thinks completely oposite of you, you learn stuff you would have never thought of. Kinda like watchin' a beautiful mind or something. On a forum set up like this you don't have to read stuff wtih Benny's name on it, you just avoid a post or topic with his name on it and you avoid the problem. Problem with that is Benny is kinda like Howard Stern, his ratings are real high cause lots of people can't stand him at all, but the people that can't stand him just gotta know what he says next. I personally enjoy 90% of what Benny says, the stuff I don't like I let bounce off of me. I think that there should be room for this here too, just my opinion, dobut it will mean much, but my opinion.
