I stand by my decision.....

I have a hard time forgetting what all has happened in the past with Benny. I've saved all the threats sent by email, and I've spent a couple of days reviewing his statements. I made my decision last September and I stand by it. Old Salty has had his posting priviledges revoked.

I asked Benny to refrain from posting. He can't help but try to take over the discussion. He has his own forum to voice his message, and I feel that he should dedicate his time and resources to the promotion of that site.

i stand by your decision Micah... because we both know first hand what will eventually happen.... we have been there and done that.... i agree that he has some helpful info, but he has his own site and that is where everyone should go if they want to join him....

i agree with jb and micah, some of the ideas he has are good ones but the bad outways the good. i wish him well, just some where else.

It's your deal, your time, and mostly your money, so you do what you want. However, I disagree with your decision to cut Benny off this time.

I haven't seen any of the old emails to you and Benny does get heavily involved in almost all discussions. Sometimes he is the only one replying to his own topics.

BUT, he always provides a new perspective on things, he has some really good(and some really strang) ideas and some great knowledge, and most recently he did a pretty good job of watching his language.

I am not aware of any limit on the number of times you can reply to a post, nor any reason why there should be a limit. You can't really fault someone for too much participation on a message board, can you?

I thought these might provide a little insight. I for one am not up for dealing with this guy every day, regardless of his expertise in habitat management.

Here are a few quotes from Benny's emails last fall:

Benny's attitude towards MSDucks.com:

A little statement about Christians
"You cant reason with a f**kin greedy christian. PERIOD"

Benny's conspiracy theory

"somewhere" so fast it would make your head spin if they traced an
information channel to ME..."

I agreed when you revoked Benny. I disagree with the decision to revoke Old Salty.
I have seen nothing wrong with any of the post Old Salty has made. To darn long, but if he would rather sit at the puter all day and type instead of work on waterfowl habitat that is his decision.

As far as I'm concerned Benny and Old Salty are not the same person.

I can understand about some of the awful e-mails he sent ya'll. As long as Old Salty goes by the rules he should stay.

I think Old Salty is Bennys way of asking for forgivness!

Let him Stay!!

At least til he screws up.

I tell you what I am so confindent that I am right about this stuff that I aint even gonna give you any **** about just about anything you post, excpet when you post **** that might possibly get me KILLED.

And If I see anymore of that on your forum, Im going to press charges against you, and if they dont do anything Im going to personally hunt you down and beat the living piss out of you so you dont get me KILLED.

And if you think that is a threat, YOU ARE RIGHT, and you better take it seriously too butt head.

Play within the rules, just like you say.

I agree with Micah's decision. I think Benny, Old Salty, and whatever other names he goes by has pushed the limit too many times not only on here but also via the emails. Thanks again Micah and be careful. Get Judge JB to handle things for you. lol

Keep him out. He has been kicked off of all the public duck forums on the web. He can't control himself and has nothing of real value to add unless you consider how to bait a field with grain knowledge. Anybody can do that with out that idiots help. The part I like best is when he keeps threatening Micah with taking all his members away. Look at that joke of a site and the 3 or 4 jokes who use it. Take away the membership here Benny? Not a chance. MSDUCKS RULES! And will continue to rule so long as you keep him out Micah.

opinions are like azzholes...everybody has one and as far as i am concerned if benny "steals" members away...they need to leave b/c they will not fit in here anyway. just the few posts he had while he was back was enough to shut up all the sensable people that do not want to waste time replying. and they would dare not post a topic b/c he would just run on on and ruin any good info posted

I've been a member on this site for sometime now just haven't posted much so I don't know of the controversy surrounding Benny, Old Salty and Micah. I have read a few of Old Salty's posts and even replied to them but I'm here to tell you, I come to this site for conversation, ideas, and fun. If I have to come to this site and get preaching or bashed from somebody like Micah claims Benny has done, then I might as well stay at work or home. I sure as hell don't want anybody threatening anybody, much less me. That's not what hunting is about. I know that you always have a bad apple in every bunch that likes to stir s### and it seems that this one is no different. If I can't enjoy myself here or in the field then I'll go elsewhere.

Micah I stand by you if you say what happened did in fact happen, and I have no reason to not believe you.

Well I'll be the 3rd to say that he should'nt have been canned. Greenhead22 pretty much said everything that I would have said. I think he may have learned his lesson from the first time. If he did start to act up again then CAN him but not when he has'nt done nothing wrong this time and played by the rules. [img]images/smiles/icon_sad.gif[/img]
