Shoot Tournament July 27th *UPDATE*RESULTS*

For you shooters I want to give you a little advance notice so you might plan ahead.
Mississippi River Chapter of DU and Waste Management have teamed up to put on a NSCA 100 target shoot July 27th at the Willows. There will be 50 target sub-gauge tournament for 410, 28 and 20 ga. starting at 9 am with awards going to the top 3 shooters in each category. There will also be a Duck Flush Tournament from 9am to noon with nice prizes to the top 3 - 3 men teams. Lunch will be served from 11 or so till 1 pm. At 1 pm the 100 target NSCA shoot will start with prizes and awards to the top 3 shooters, NSCA Classes AA- Hunter. HOA will win his choice of a Huglu 3" auto or Stoeger DU over & under with the runner-up getting the other plus their awards. A twist in this is the low shooter of the day will win a Marlin DU rifle. Everybody has a chance to win not just Delta Duck. Lewis class money option is available also. Got a partial delivery on the award plaques for the winners yesterday. Text inlaid on walnut plaques with a Ms. shooters pin inlaid on the bottom. SHARP & GOOD LOOKIN'. Gonna put them at the Willows for eveybody to see until the shoot. Ya'll come. Worth comin see Delta Duck strut his stuff. [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]

Here is an update on the DU shoot today:

TunicaDU4U and company put on a great shoot. Nice testy targets, mostly true pairs. They had some really killer bar-b-que for lunch, too.

Msducks own Redhead won "D" class;
Msducks own DeltaDuck came in second in "B";
and GulfCoast came in second place overall (HOA-RU). I think Redhead and his buddies won the duck flush tournament, and he may have won some of the subguage events, too. Good shooting, guys.

Thanks Tunica DU guys and Willows guys for a great shoot!
