i deleted the post after the last six people "wanted to know where the moderators were to delete this idiots post"
it was his first post on this site and he just wanted to find someone to piss off... he done a good job on a few of you...

also because one of my favorite holes was on there....haha.... i meant to delete and change it over to the moderators forum, but it didn't work.. so maybe he will put the hotspot page back up... have at it....

I saw that post and my thoughts were...this guy is either:
a) a clueless one cell organism
b) hired by that site to post on as many forums as possible to generate site traffic so he can tell the sponsors how much exposure they are getting.
c) the second cousin of Benny who just likes to lob in a grenade, hide and watch people air out opinions (in the name of healthy arguing, of course...)

You noticed that the post was the first and the email address was probably a free hotmail account that is disposable.

If I were betting, I would bet on B, or C.

However, if the 'ol boy is just plain clueless...here's my take.

Hunting is fun when you have to hunt. The best times I ever had were on public land, slogging in, guessing where the birds wanted in, adjusting on the fly, finding new spots, trying to get where no one else has found (or, was willing to go). I have gone on paid hunts, we killed a few birds, and for what it was worth, better than staying home. Life sometimes dictates which of the above you have time for. This year I broke down and got a small lease...between the dog, 10 yr old and 12 yr old sons, I'll have my hand full. When they get stronger, you can bet we'll do some more public adventures.

So, should sites publish "free hot spots"? No, because there are people out there stupid enough to think it's just that easy and at least once, they'll show up and make a three ring circus. On second thought, maybe it's not so bad, if the clueless congregate at one spot, that will more likely cause less traffic where those that are having fun HUNTING will be.

Cheers!

DY, dat's the first post you had on this that made sense. Bwhahahaha, I like it.

Seriously or scarsticly... well, I aint serious bout none too much. And the afore mentioned stuff was brought up cause its in the same catergory. Having nice stuff aint bad, but making due dat nice stuff makes you sumthing is. Dat's excatly whut Im talking bout. The dude with cork, macks bout the dude wif g & h's, while he macks bout flambeuas. When in all actuality, it don't make a crap to a duck and we all know dat. The folks dat can't git past the stuff, don't git it. No more than the folks that think a website map is gonna find dem a SECRET honey hole.
It was obvious dude posted to not help his fellow man, but for his own means. Dat is a hoar brother. And the folks hoaring are as bad as the johns.
I did enjoy yur last post. Dat's the kind of responce I expected from you in the beginging. travis

Thanks for the explanation.

I, like GC, was looking forward to the many responses that were sure to follow.

No big loss, the closer we get to duck season, the more things will heat up. Maybe I will create a new topic on spinning wing decoys and which one is the best.

Well maybe I'm wrong, I for some reason thought there were more to this site than what a few wanted. I can understand the need to have a policy and the need to enforce it. Personal attacks and be-littling for no good reason should be stopped.
When it comes to information put out in a constuctive manner it is very hard to know what the original thoughts were of the poster that put the information out. Judge felt as if the guy did it simply to piss (sorry Gulf) others off and it may very well be the case. I don't know.
But what I do know is that you have to take the information and allow the people to use it as they like. That is the what a forum is all about. You will not and can not agree with everything.
Maybe the guy really felt like he was giving some good information. But when you come off blasting the guy because of what he posted and then remove his post without knowing what his motives were because some of the regulars don't like it. We can rely on never getting any bigger or better as a forum cause your going to remove new comers.

Personally I like everyone I have ever met off of this site. Just gets my goat when we start dogging each other.

better tomorrow

I think the guy probably posted it on a bunch of websites. May have thought that he was doing a good thing.

Judge: I did not know you could put them back.

Hey,
look on the bright side...
It diverted attention away from another unnecessary, potentially slanderous debate about the Mean Mallard!

Goose,
I can't warrant my acrylics against boat paddle breakage for the same reasons that the paddle manufacturers can't warrant against breakage for anything other than normal usage.

There might be a market for boat paddle insurance if your new rule goes into effect though

Goose you and Damnyankee both need a good old fashion wood shed whooooping and your mouth washed out with lye soap for the language you are using. Both of you know better.
I guess that is why both of you only have four stars and you need those taken away for you.

Whut language? Dis is a discussion bout hoars & oars, ya ought to expect it to be a lil raw.... I thought since the first sentence I wrote was, I had been nice a LONG time but, the faint of hart would have turned away there. But if it'll make ya feel better, since i typed those wurds, I'll wash my hands with soap and water. bwhahaha. travis
