Now why would I want to give you names so you could go warn them! Just ask around, 2 does and a 5 point out of our fields not to mention the ruts they cut. It will catch up with them.

What color was the truck tdog, we have had all kinds of problems this year in Yazoo County and think we have seen the truck a couple of times. We had one stupid enough to walk through the woods jumped a monster shot it and trailed it through a food plot that someone was hunting, but at the opposite end, when our guy made himself visible the little punk took off running no way for our guy to catch him. Another member saw them in a field a couple of weeks ago and did what he thought was best and blocked the road they came in on, but the asses new the place well enough they went out through the landowners yard. Game warden got there about 20 minutes after they were spotted and followed there tracks through the woods and then through the yard. The land owners kids go to Manchester. We also know of another pocher and we will get him also one of these days.

Years ago I recall some trouble we had w/ poachers in that area. They were hunting w/o permission, cutting ruts in the roads and fields, etc. One night they were caught coming out by one of my family members. Turns out, one of the boys was a game warden's son.

Boy your kids really do you proud sometimes

Hey Pondman good luck on stopping the poaching around Stokes Road and around T-Bar. Hell I'm 32 and born and raised around Madison and I still here High School kids talking about going out there and killing them. Those little bastards have gotten smart also. I've heard of them riding bikes out there. looking like they are bike riding and when no ones around ditching there bikes and going hunting. If they kill one they call a buddy and they'll come pick them up after dark. I also heard of one kid here in Madison that has spent some money and gotten some gen 4 night vision binoculars and scope. Now I was in the Military and those things are just like looking through a regular scope in the day time. Heard He would just look through his scope or binocs and see if there was one in the field and take a shot. He was not using a spotlight so that is probaly why he and his buddies have'nt been caught yet.

Sammy Fisher is the game warden in yazoo co and if you talk to him he will get results. It may take him a while but he will get it done. He is a real good guy.

Never met Sammy but all my relatives think alot of him. He lives less than a mile from the field that they have shot in, it is impossible for him to cover the area that the state ask him to cover. As far as the color of the truck we have seen 2 different ones. One is a white chevy and the other is a dark colored tacoma.

I hope that you are right, because last year it was young men from Benton Aca. that they caught. It is a problem that we have and I am sure that we will continue to have.

One of my favorite stories is from one of the guys that lease some land from my dad. He went scouting around one day on a wednesday or thursday. They usually are never there during the week unless its a friday or monday. Anyway he walks in from about a half mile away, just walking thru looking for signs and sees a boat tied up to a tree (this is on the pearl river). Well he eases up to the field ( food Plot) and see where they crossed the field headed toward the other side. He calls couple of the guys in the club and ask if any one was suppose to be there, and of course no. Well since he wasnt sure how many there was and he knew they had guns, best thing to do was leave it alone. But not before sending them a message. He had taken a sneakers bar with him, that was going a snack from walking around all morning. Well he just untied the boat, gave it a heave, and took the candy bar and pushed it onto the limb that the boat was tied off to, just so the guys would know that the boat didnt come untied by itself. Every since then they havnt had any problems.,
