Good way to end the Mahanna Hunts.
Went this morn I was the only truck on the place. I thought I would never say this but I could have used some help from the Mahanna 500 racers to keep the birds flyin. Could have limited out just needed 2 more . Could not compete with the quacking behind me in the other corn. No matter what I tried they just kept going down in the other spot. BUT I did manage to get a greenhead , suzie with some bling bling and 2 teal. Had to wait till the wife got home with other camera to get a pic of the blingbling.

Weekdays
Those weekday hunts at Mahanna when there are only a handfull of people around are great ones. I remember one day last year when the big freeze front came through and it was just me and about 4 other trucks on a WEN morning. It was warm and shooting was slow till about 9AM when the front came through and then the birds were dropping out of the sky right into the dekes.
