Not to derail the thread but in Old England swan was decreed "food fit for a king" and only the royal; family could hunt them. Tasted like goose to me.

The TarHeel state does not have a true duck hunting forum. And this is by far the best forum out there anyway.

drakeyboy i lived in Beaufort NC for 6 years 80 to 86 i know what you mean about the duck hunting around there. Just got through watching the tarheels put in on Arizona. Grew up watching Jordon,Perkins,Worthy Daughrty the whole bunch been in love with North Carolina basket ball every since GO HEELS :D :D By the way i love to deep sea fish. I have caught many of nice fish off the east coast would love to go again hint hint happy and safe hunting to ya
