Retriever question

My plans right now are to be at Central Alabama (hopefully), Pld Hatchie, Southern Flight, L'Anguille River, West Tennessee, and any others I can go to. I gotta fit in AKC Tests, too.

I talked to a guy yesterday that has some pups he needs to sell. They are black (yellow factored). The sire is Cropper's Super Black Eagle "Spade", who is a new GRHRCH, out of FC NAFC MD's Cotton Pick'n Cropper. Spade is Jeff and Linda Brewer's dog. The dam is a HRCH Middle Forks Lucky Penny, out of two HRCH's. The pups are advertised on Working-Retriever. Robert Jeter is the owner of the dam and puppies, you may know him from judging. He is asking $300 which is a really good price. Earlier in this post, we were talking about buying the best a person could afford, this is a really good breeding for that price. Robert has two shots in them and they are all males, both parents hips are OFA Good and both parents eyes have been CERF'd. His phone numbers are 731-648-9304 (h) and 731-225-9468 (cell).

I,too, have a pup out of Ali by Coffee, but from the second litter. It was the success of the first litter that really sealed the deal for me. "Coal" just turned 4 months old and has been a great find. He's done really well with the obedience a quick learner it seems. [img]images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img] He loves the water & singles are usually flawless. We are workin on easy/short doubles now. It's really neat the way he already watches birds fly overhead. That's right Goosebruce, I watched Rowdy & you at the DU festival & after talking with you & Chance I found Scot's booth.
Are ya'll having a training day anytime soon? Would like to get some tips for what we need to work on, etc.

Clubwise we got a sunday afternoon social schedualed for july 28th in hernando. Probably have a training day early august (I hope!). Course, your welcome to come train with us whenever ya want. Normally in como on the weekends, mempho during the week.

Right now, your dogs life needs to be finding out there is a big big world out there. Needs to be exposed to other dogs, guns, birds, and water. Needs to learn there are rules, but there is fun too. Never think that a 20 minute walk with a puppy learning smells and chasing medowlarks is anything but nessessary training! Dogs need that time to romp, and smell, and learn bout field stuff. The going get things and bringing it back stuff isn't nearly important to a dogs future at that age, as in learning his place with you, and in the world. travis

Really don't know why I got 4. Sheez. Ya'd think since I know everything, everyone would have given me top marks. bwhahaha.

Dat dude is a waste of time. Everyone that coulda got sum hep outta dat thread has already got it. Past that point, its simply fodder for him to bitch. Rather spend the time petting my dog.
