Ducks in Crenshaw?

Postby micscottj » Mon Jan 09, 2006 8:41 am

Has anyone around Crenshaw had any luck? We have a hole pumped up, but we aren't getting any action. Saturday morning, I heard a lot of shooting North and South, but none on our hole.

We've done pretty good just south of Crenshaw on flooded rice.

We have some property around askew. It's been feast or famine.

Thursday morning...

Thursday looked promising. We saw lots of ducks early, but with all the rain last week, it has gotten them spread out. I am not optimistic about the rest of the season.

We've seen an increase in ducks over the past few days, and they've been increasingly weary also. I guess typical this time of year.
