One hunt on the river with one more pass we were set up on a point right off the river. About 3 or 4 hours into the hunt we noticed some very loud honking over our left shoulders. We turned around to see what was going on, to our surprise we had a group(6 or

canadians coming right over our heads. I have never seen geese do this before, they came over and made one circle then lit right in the middle of our decoys. We were so shocked we only managed to get one out of the group. We could not believe it, but it was not over about 30 min later another group of honkers made the same pattern over our left shoulder out in front and right in the middle of our spread. This time we managed to take out three of the five. Twice in one hunt and that has never happened to us again. I guess we just happened to be where they wanted to be
