NBC Coverage was awful

Is it just me or did the coverage provided by NBC Suck??? I thought they were going to let fox have it for the entire year. Not only was the camera coverage awful but who the heck were those commentators??? Where did they get them from??

Case in point....every other race (it seems), they make'em turn around and go the other direction......How Come? ('must be an attempt to add variety.) Heck, if they really wanted to make it interesting......make'em change direction OR race in reverse every other lap. [img]images/smiles/icon_eek.gif[/img].....Yeah!!.....2 laps forward and 1 in reverse!!! Last car running, WINS!! [img]images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img]

I agree I thought the coverage today was pretty pitiful. Kinda made you feel like you were watching a Busch race. Fox was much better even with DW gettin all emotional every time his brother won a race. [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]

I thought the coverage was adequate. Next to ESPN's pioneer work (back when the big networks didn't care) all that FOX hype seemed kind of silly (boogity, boogity). So all in all it was okay.

I am with go24. I couldn't stand it when fox had to sit there for 5 min. every race and explain what loose and tight meant while the race was going on and showing you there little gizmo they had. Football announcers dont sit there and explain what offsides is ever game (and so on). But to be honest about it I wish ESPN was still announcing it.
