Shooter is a jackazz. I don't think he evens hunts but just comes in here to try and act like a hunter. He must be some dumb booty redneck that doesn't even know what research is.

When I was a kid very few of the "old timers" that I hung around would report their bands. I knew an old guy who had a coffee cup full of bands that he would not let anyone report. I think they were paranoid about "big brother" (i.e. the guv'ment) knowing their business. Also, back before the 1-800 number was in place, a lot of folks mistakenly thought you had to mail in the band itself.

I have reported every band I ever harvested...including my first (a $100 reward from Saskatchewan) and my most recent (14 year old from Islay, Alberta).

H2o Dog...true dat. I grew up out west...bands were very rare. Bands didnt get reported because not many birds where bieng banded, and it was a pain to report...they clipped em on thier lanyards and went on killin :wink: What the heck where we talkin about anyway :lol: :lol: :lol:

H2o Dog and Ducks Be Us thanks for teaching me something.

That is truly the first I ever heard of bands not being reported. I guess I grew up in the 1-800 era. You old farts :wink:

I think one of the 2 teenagers hunting with us actually killed. Four ducks went down after the shooting was over. Don' t know who actally shot that one though.
