Lakes Ferguson, Lee and Washington

Anyone hunting these area lakes? Is it legal too. Not talking about getting out onto someone's land but anchoring a boat in the brush and hunting.

if not at least to answer the questions.
If some animals are good at hunting and others are suitable for hunting, then the Gods must clearly smile on hunting.

:?: ...why when Lake Washington is nearly or over 10 miles long...lots of area to cover...and typically if your hunting in that area..you'll prolly be on a lease....not hunting these lakes..so what's da problem..more especially if you dont hunt them...

To answer your question Bustin', if you say on this forum that ducks exist on any piece of public land then you can fully expect to see a gazillion trucks at the landing the next weekend. There are thousands of out of staters and in staters that do their scouting online. Just watch what you say or you'll talk yourself right out of a decent place to hunt. Mention good hunts on a specific private hole and you won't have it next year...some moneybags will show up and lease it out from under you. 'Dems the facts.

well in that case....9 hunters have limited out @ Okatibbee (Meridian) on every hunt  ..several banded ducks, and 3 banded geese....1 reward band for $25...(maybe that will keep everyone out of the delta)...aint that right SkippyJ...

to give you an honest answer. there are not very many ducks on the river oxbows from tunica to vicksburg. :( :( ms river is extremly low. there is nothing but open water. and nothing but a few divers on it. not worth the gas to come find out.
