I don't think that I know them.

There was a dog FC AFC Riverbend's Bo Jangles. I am pretty sure that he is dead now. He was very popular in the mid to late 80's. His owners are Charlie and Jan Bunn from Cormorant, MS. I hope that this helps.

BoJangles was one hell of a dog but bred to death. Everybody and his brother had a dog out of BoJangles. Didn't at one time he have more points earned than any dog in the history of field trials or something? I may be wrong but seems like in his late years he was sold to Patricia Higgs over in Forrest City, Ar. I remember her telling me BoJangles was the dog that "taught" her how to train dogs. I had one of his pups, and have a third and fourth generation pups out of him now. Good dogs

"Dutch" has bojangles' blood. I am pretty sure that if you search back in the history of nearly every dog's pedigree he's there somewhere...as tunica du4u stated he was bred extensively. I have heard of "hilanders bojangles" as well as riverbends bojangles. If i'm not mistaken one was around in the 50's.

Go to gooddoginfo.com and click in the free part of the page. You can search for virtually every dog that has been associated with field trials and a lot of hunt test dogs. you can search by dog name, owner name, state, and a lot more. It also gives the number of titles ofspring, siblings, and parentage. Hope this helps!
P.S. I believe there is a picture of Bo Jangles at

Wow, thanks for posting that link to the gooddog site. That's exactly what I have been looking for.
I have a question for anyone who has an opinion. My dog has national field trial champions on one side of her lineage 4, 5, and 6 generations back. But nothing notable in her immediate parents, other than the fact that they are great hunters, as is my dog. How diluted are these champion genes by the time they make it my dog's puppies? Wouldn't these puppies make excellent field trail dogs?

I had a chocolate bitch out of Riverbends Bo Jangles that was destined for greatness... Her first dove hunt was on opening morning as a 9 month old pup in an uncut soybean field...She found 14 out of 15 birds... Unfortunately she was stolen 3 months later near Yazo City and I have not seen her since...I hope whoever stole her put her to good use.
