MOUNTS
MOUNTS
I killed a black duck this past weekend and was curious what is some of your ideas for mount position?
If some animals are good at hunting and others are suitable for hunting, then the Gods must clearly smile on hunting.

That's the one I like the best.
I like sitting mounts better usually than flying ones but just my .02

At times there is not a satisfactory substitute for well-aimed lead going down range at high velocity.

I took that exact pic to my taxidermist the other day. I have a mottled/mallard cross with him now and a widgeon in the freezer that is going shortly.
I also like the standing mounts as much or better than flying. Both of these boys will be standing or swimming if I can figure out exactly how I want the swimming mount done.

Black Duck Mount

Recently picked this one up from Tommy Lovelace in Brandon. This is my first pic to post. Do not know if it will work.
