Just curious......how do you tell the difference between a drake and hen Black Duck, by appearance?

From what I can tell...the drakes have a wierd looking greenish yellow bill ....the hen has a greenish bill with black blotches...They say nowdays ALOT of em are hybred with mallards. Ive never killed one ta know for sure. Mottlet had some good pictures of a hen 8) 8) 8)

Personally, I think it looks more like a mottled duck than a black duck....JMHO
