anyways , nice to talk to ya

Gotta call J Paul about a puppy if you are looking to get a good one and can afford to have it trained. Me personally, I can't justify spending that cash, but the man has some awesome dogs! We were talking about crappie fishing on Sunday with the 60 degrees and 20 mph winds. My hunting season is looking pretty jam packed with only a month to go. However, we might be able to get together in the spring for some fishing. We might need to have a W TN - NW MS, MSDUCKS gathering after the season! Hope ya'll keep killing a few too!

The web addy is http://www.refugeforums.com , however, they are not accepting new members at the present time due to site problems (mostly registration problems with different isp). I'll try to post up when they open the gates or you could simply check from time to time, however you can read regardless of member status!

I think the registration is back open at the refuge site. I just registered there the other day and saw it was open for registration this afternoon.

Former Tennessean here. 20 yrs up near nashville and 6 in Shelby Co, until "local politics" drove me down to Olive Branch. Now I'm down on the Gulf Coast.....yes, moved in just 5 weeks before Katrina took my house away.....

dd, really sorry to hear about your bad luck, or good luck in that you are OK, just depends on how ya look at it! Hope S MS treats you right once things ever get back to normal.

WDC, I'm all for having a get together some time. Would be OK with inviting the N MS boys too!

Thanks Redeye. I'm hoping that I can find some public land down here that's worth the time to hunt. My house is (was) on Graveline Bay. I'm trying to find out if it's huntable or not. I've made a few trips out on it lately, and seen some ducks moving around, but i'm not sure about whether it's huntable or not. Guess I'll need to find the local game warden and ask before next season.
