THE ULTIMATE "F" UP!!!!!
I think all of you are overlooking ONE BIG THING, The man said he was on a WMA. Now every WMA reg I've ever seen says you and your vehicle are subject to search while on the premises! Man said he had a 10 ga. gun on his person in a duck hunting area. He also had lead shot in that same area (IE truck) Now while he was not using it and I suppose he is a law abiding citizen I do not believe the warden was out of line. Like wingman said though we only know 1/2 the story. I believe the warden did his job and our court system will do it's job properly too! As far as you being innocent till proven guilty in the field is not so. If you have prima facia evidence you are assumed guilty untill proven otherwise!

imo, common sense and using your own judgment should have been the deciding factor. Like someone said earlier, we only know half of the story but sounds to me its another case of the dickhead. Im no gw and respect most but i would like to think that the majority of gw's would have asked the guy if he was aware of breaking the law, if he seemed sincere and respectful let him slide with a warning. Now if he started to show his ass thats a different story. Sounds like to me he showed his ass after the ticket was being written...... which i too would have shown mine if this was the case.

If Greenhead is telling us the entire story, then I do not think that the local Judge is going to find him guilty of violating the law. It will wind up being a waste of the GW's time and Greenhead's time, and will accomplish nothing. But, like other law enforcement learn over time, that GW will have to learn the hard way which tickets to write and what is worth his time to pursue. Greenhead, I would make him take it to trial with the local Judge.
