LMOD (light modified) optima plus choke, black....it is an extended choke that is ported....and i love it....shot really well with it the other day....shot several ducks in the 40-50 yd range, both with steel #2s and some hevi shot #4s and #6s....I bought the choke on good advice from people on the site (mainly GulfCoast
) and have been really happy about it
also, the sloganoutdoors rubber sling is the bomb.....just make sure if you get one for the xtrema2 to call them and tell them you want a tactical sling with nylon attachments on both ends, as the xtrema2 has swiveling mechanisms already built in

WHat type of pattern are you getting at 40 yards with the LMOD? I have also heard of people using the mod and improved mod with the Extrema 2 as well. I have a good friend that spends A LOT OF TIME at the pattern board with different chokes and loads and he uses the factory mod in that gun. I know he tried some aftermarket chokes on it, not sure which ones though. Just curious?

Don't let stuff like that bother you. The internet duck boards would grind to a halt without a zillion posts from people yammering about guns that don't suit them when they jam one time who don't 1) clean their weapons properly, 2) don't break in their weapons properly; or 3) won't spend 30 seconds figuring out why something is happening.
Relax and kill ducks. It works for me.

I was almost sold on the Beretta till I read all that mess....1400$ for a shotgun is a wad for me... taa hell with break in ! There was several that wouldn't cycle 3.5 shells off the bat even after the breakin...... the Nova/870 will kill ducks for sure.....But I want and Auto
Back to the SBE2 I guess........ im sure there is several rants posts on those as well.... just thought it was an interesting read..........

2nd that
an SBE will jam and any other gun. Mine jamed a few times. I had to break it down all the way for a good cleaning. It's amazing how much grass, leaves, water, powder and mud you'll find. It's been doing great since.

If you want an auto and are concerned about it working find a Browning A5. While out of production they can still be bought. Swann had a 3" Mag never shot a couple of weeks ago. And Van's probably still has some new in the box.
Before Christmas I almost took a spill and dropped my A5 in the drink. I caught the gun strap as the Butler Creek emblem was going out of sight. The entire gun was submerged. I pulled the gun out of the water, drained it by turning the gun up and down and placed it back on my shoulder, never even unloading the shells. Muddy water was pouring out of everywhere. Fifteen or so minutes later 3 Gadwalls come into the spread and it fired flawlessly all three times. With any other auto I probably would have just gone to the house.
Good luck!
