Another non duck question
I'm looking to buy a BBQ grill with the off set fire box.
Where around NW MS is a good place to find a decent one?
(Forgive me I'm a yankee and have always cooked with propane...)
Thanks,

Ive got the brinkman from wallmart a couple of Christmases ago and I really like it. You can smoke or grill on it, and it heavy duty too great grill. I think they have even went down some since I got mine.

Home Depot has a real nice one with a three foot tall smoke box and a charcoal box big enough to double as a grill, I think it cost about 400, I use mine every weekend.

home depot or walmart! home depot has the new braunsfeld grills. walmart has the brinkman which is an exact duplicate of the braunsfeld. the brinkman is a bit cheaper in price. it has a bit lighter metal and all the seams are spot welded. the braunsfeld has thicker metal and the seams are welded all around. they are really nice grills/smokers! brinkmann smoker the brinkmann was 150$ at wally when i bought mine and the depot model was 200$.

last count 6 grills plus one gas grill which has not been used but once or twice in five year. 2 brinkman smokers at home i have a kingsford egg shaped grill that i really like//but at pickwick i use the weber one touch down/ at arkie i have several weber/new braunsfeld and the gourmet charcoal barrel grill which was purchased at home depot the barrel one has heavy cast iron grates and you can ad a fire box if you want the nb is slightly heavier metal and all ready had a fire box but it has the wire grates but for the price of the grills you can't complain with these grills your biggest problem is when the body of the grill is hot and somebody pours either water or some form of liquid on them this will cause them to rust out very soon but as long as you keep them dry they should sevre you well and always use a foil water pan.now if you want to go into the big bucks theres a shop on 61 hwy coming north from tunica on the right just pass mays house moving that has a large selection of big time grills and is worth the trip just to check them out

I bought a New Braunsfeld Silver Smoker from Home Depot earlier this year for about 150. It's a great cooker with offset firebox. You can grill over the coals, or barbecue/smoke in the horizontal chamber. I've had mine fired up just about every weekend since early spring.

Thanks for all the great help went to Home Depot and Wally World. Wally world only had in stock a DU Brinkman with no side box, for $139.00. It was not very well built and was already rusting pretty good inside.
Home Depot had the New Braunfeld for $129.00($25.00 extra if I buy one already assembled) plus $29.99 for thermometer.
They also had that stand up version for $289.00 which was great but I'm going to crawl before I try to run.
Anyway I will be buying the New Braunfeld next week.
Mississippi was dead on on the quality of the New Braunfeld I think it is a little better quality than the Brinkman.
Thanks Again!!

Damnyankee,
I see you already made a decision, but I was wondering if any of you boys ever used a big green egg. Its a ceramic cooker that you can smoke or grill on. I got my father one for fathers day a couple years back and he loves it. The green egg uses real wood charcoal. You can slow cook something all day at a low temp or you can get that thing up to 600 to 700 degrees and sear a filet in about 4 minutes. The best thing about the green egg is it won't dry meat out. There not cheap but once you learn to cook on it you won't ever go back to a gas grill. Check the web site out at http://www.biggreenegg.com
