Dog Supplies

Postby BirminghamAttorney » Thu Jun 20, 2002 8:09 am

We are about to add a second lab to the family and I need to find a good source for supplies, preferably mail order. Anyone have any suggestions? (I am already familiar with Gun Dog Supply and am happy with them, but they do not have as large of a selection as I would like.)

What I am first looking for is a portable plastic kennel.

Thanks for the help.

Are you looking for a plastic kennel to hold both dogs or are you going to use 2 kennels?
There are really nice Kennels that have a toolbox built on the top, that are made out of that diamond cut Aluminum plate. They are around 250 dollars i think. But, you have to have a truck, it fits like a toolbox.
I have two labs myself and bought 2 porta pet kennels from Wal-Mart that work great and are probably alot cheaper than a gun dog store. Any of the duck hunting mags carry quite a bit of gog stuff.

Try lion country supply. Last time I checked there, they had a very good supply.

You can't beat the price of a pet poter at Sams or Wal-Marts. If your looking for a leash, bumpers, dokkens e-collor and all if your at Mossy Oak they have a pretty good selection. If your a member of HRC you get a 15% discount.

Cahaba Valley Hunting Retriever Club. It is in sort of limbo right now. Need some new blood. If your interested in such a thing e-mail me. jjtbr@earthlink.net
