Gotta get some for sure. Hands have been cracked and bleeding for a few weeks and just get worse every week!

Bag Balm not Badger Balm......

Postby billjohnson » Wed Dec 21, 2005 6:58 am

It's used on cow's teats when they get sore from milking. Doesn't smell too good but I will guarantee that it will fix your cracked biscuit grabbers.

Hand Care

Postby Moonpossum » Wed Dec 21, 2005 8:02 am

Bag Balm is the cure for all of your dry skin problems. It comes in a green tin and was designed for rubbing on Cow Teats.

You smear the bag balm heavy all over your hands and then put surgical gloves on your hand for about 15-20 minutes. When you remove the gloves presto hands will be in much better shape. While many will be skeptical this technique will change your life for the better. MP

Cracks

Postby Hooded Merganzer » Wed Dec 21, 2005 8:04 am

I second the "Super Glue" or "Krazy Glue" for protection on cracks and
fast releif. I keep some in my hunting coat pocket at all times.
Forms a really hard shell over the cracked area.

Whatever works the best, send Delta Duck a freakin case of it. Shaking hands with him is like grabbing a belt sander!

talked to him two weeks ago on sunday, over coffee, at the Blue and White.

said they were very fortunate, and doing real well so far.

On the subject. If I need a quick fix in the blind, I ALWAYS have carmex in my pocket, and a quick dab over the dry knuckles helps out a lot.
