Another LASIK Success Today!!

I followed 00duck and had the laser zapper today and quite frankly it's a miracle. I went from off the scale legally blind to much better if not 20/20. Since I don't know what 20/20 is, I can't say for sure, but I'll find out tomorrow on the follow-up visit.

Guys, don't hesitate to get this procedure done, it's like science fiction come true and a hell of a lot better than flying cars. No more glasses or hard contact lenses. Whooopeeee!

My wife went from coke bottle glasses to 20/15 after the lasik surgery, but still has a little dry eye in one of them. If I did not have a buckle in one of my eyes, I would do it in a heartbeat.

will LASIK work on astygmatism? Don't know how you spell that, but I would like to get back to 20/20...would help with passing the FAA medical-I DESPISE GLASSES!...oh, and would prevent me from shooting bluebills that I think are mallards.

Yeh Wingman, astigmatism was 50% of my problem, but no more. I do know that the FAA and/or certain pilots association, airlines etc. all have different rules on LASIK. The doctor discussed this during my initial consultation but since I'm not a pilot I didn't pay any attention.

keep them wet but it is nice to be able to see wingman i asked about the flying and it did not seem to be a problem but this could be for private ticket only i just don't know about commercial [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]
