Rain in the North

Hi Keith
You're getting an email from a farmer who's grinning from ear to ear !! We had 1 inch of rain,10 days ago which was the most at one time in 2 years. Then, early this week, we got 3 1/2 inches over 3 days. Most of it soaked in but some near the end , ran into the sloughs. I'm not sure how long the water will stay in the sloughs but probably at least until the duckhatch is complete. If we get a few more heavy rain storms over the summer, we could see the ducks landing this fall. I'll let you know how it progresses .
