The best thing to do on the Bayou is to put in the Mississippi River at Grand Gulf and run down. It should take about 20 min. It probaly would work good for what you are thinking. I have been thinking the same thing myself.

I was wondering if any of ya'll fish in Bayou Pierre. If so, is there a boat ramp available for public use?

Thanks

You might could put in at the Port of Port Gibson, but not on Grand Gulf property. Not unless you want a quick trip to the pokey. Since 9/11 access to that ramp is a no no.
