Postby catfish » Sun Jun 09, 2002 4:45 pm

Delta duck club in Coahoma county,MS. Members will have access to over 5000 acres of prime duck habitat. Hunt private lake chutes, borrow pits, sloughes, river chutes, oxbows, flooded timber, and rice fields with existing pits. There are a lot of deals out there, why not go where you will kill ducks. 10 members total this year, memberships are $1500. Includes cabin access on property.

Hey.....the house rules are that I get a free membership in return for advertising. How's that sound?

Hey Micah...Are you saying that duck club memberships are of a "commercial nature"?
Leases I can understand but memberships in clubs seems like we should be able to post those...What is the house rule on this?

Depends on the nature of the "club". There are lot's of leases setup as clubs by the landowner, and it's a commercial enterprise.

See the distinction?

I think I understand...

For example, we have a club with leases near Satartia and Redwood...There are 6 deer only memberships at Redwood and 3 deer/duck memberships that enable duck hunting at both tracts and deer hunting at Satartia only...

The 6 deer only memberships at Redwood are taken but we have one deer/duck membership left in the club...The other 2 deer/duck members are me and my cousin...

Water at Redwood is guaranteed since it is a lake and pond...Satartia has one hole with guaranteed water since there is an irrigation well there...There are two other holes with structures at Satartia that flood some years, some years they dont...

Redwood hunting would be ducks only since the deer hunting memberships are taken...Habitat is a 30 acre lake and 10 acre pond...Satartia lease is duck and deer hunting on 640 acres (230 acres of woods and 410 acres of fields)...Duck hunting is mornings only at both tracts....Deer is all day at Satartia only...Dues are $2000 per year...

Leave my post up if this is an acceptable post...If not take it down and I will know why...

Thanks-
