Lifetime license

Does anyone know if there is an infant lifetime license (like 0-4 years old). I know LA has one ($200) and someone told me that MS also has one. I looked on the MDWFP web site and they have a birth thru 12 years old for $500. Theres no mention of an infant license but there web site isn't always that current. I would like to buy one for my boy.

The birth to 12 is the only license they offer. For $500.00 I wish I could have bought one years ago when I was a student at State (I was a resident of Miss during my 4 yrs there and could have bought a lifetime license)

They just changed the fees on this one. I just got my 22 month old boy a lifetime sportsman license for $200. The lady told me that I was probably one of the last ones to get this price. I am glad that I went ahead and got him one for the $200. I could not imagine never having to buy a license! I hope he appreciates me one day!!

DuckE, I guarantee he'll appreciate it if he is a true sportsman. My parents bought me a lifetime license when I was fifteen. That was right before the price went up to $500. I think it was something like $250 back then. Anyway, besides the time dad spent in the woods with me, it was the best gift my parents could have ever given me. Not that I ever intend to leave MS, but whether I do or don't - I will never have to worry about the prices of hunting licenses for the rest of my life. If I ever have a son, buying him a lifetime license will definitely be on the list of to do's.
