The snapper and trigger fish sure were bitin'

Sure did enjoy the annual fishin' trip to Orange Beach, Ala. last week. Stopped into the FloriBama just to make sure nothing had changed! The water was great...slick as can be, and the fish sure were bitin'. The skipper put us on several good stumps where the fish were stacked up.

My father-in-law, who had a stroke in Jan. made the trip and out-fished us all...as usual. He had said he was going to be able to fish and dang if he didn't do it! Brought back a cooler full of snapper and trigger fish. Only bad thing was that no decent grouper were caught. Enjoyed the trip to LA!

Calvin and Neal, sorry I didn't get to see you guys this trip.

Ain't them snapper fine? My grandparents used to have a house on Orange Beach. Their property line was the surf. Gotta stop at Papa Roco's and try that food.
