We had a really good time, but it doesn't take much for me to have a good time when I am away from the house. It was good, but there seemed to be more vendors last year. There were also more guns to shoot at the range last year.

took the kids on Friday, and the croud was fairly light. we shot several different guns, most of which I wouldnt take out in swamp to chase ducks. but they were sweet to shoot. the kids did their stuff.... rock climbing, catching catfish, trying to paddle the canoe. I had a difficult time with all the stuff for sale, and the scantily-clad young ladies... give a feller heart problems...

Went Sunday and it seemed like the crowd was pretty light?
Maybe the smart ones went when it wasn't so hot....

We were there all weekend in the hunting dog village. Gotta say that the gals in the short shorts and halter tops were my favorite. Man oh Man---thank goodness for dark sunglasses. Travis was giving out long term free memberships to Southern Flight to selected females.

Went Sat and it was HOT! I had a blast since it was my first experience. The boys enjoyed it and we all three wound up spending about $100.00 (not counting the tickets and food of course).

It was good to meet Phil Robertson. He was very nice and took extra time to talk to my 8 yr old. We bought one of his posters ($5), which he personalized for Stephen, and two of his videos.

Overall, I would give it an A+

Pretty much the same as last year, minus the Sunday storm.

Thank god the duck call makers were not jammed in one tent, like last year. Everyone was spread out, as it should be. More knick-knack stuff was inside this year, rubber band guns, beef jerky, etc.

cooter, you should go to the Stuttgart store, guys buy things one at time just so they can go through the line again.

The wife and I went on Saturday with the dogs........That will never happen again. That heat was murder on those hounds. They were wishing for the house about an hour into it. My chocolate tried to swim in the bucket and my black lab went diving for ice. Teh kids hanging around got a kick out of it, but I got worried and took them to the lake. All in all we had a great time, swa some friends and spent way too much money. My wife spent moer than me! The best part of my whole trip was at the Duck commander tent. I bought two shirts(my wife got the the "Our women Pluck ducks shirt") and his new video, and can yo belive I walked off and left it there. Wait it gets better! On the ay out I feel someone tapping me on the shoulder and so I turn around there stand in front of me is "RED" the guy that hunts with Phil. He tells me that he thought he would never see me again. Can you belive those guys? I have to admire their honesty and ethics, becuase in all the comotion going on I forgot the merchandise and never looked back! You can't beat that! Anyway had a great time with the wife and dogs. It was her first show and she will be back next year! Now all we need is some ducks!

Had a great time and found some great deals. I got a pair of the LaCross brushtuff 1200 waders for 100.00, and a doz. G&H shells and and 1/2 doz G&H floaters for 170.00. All in all the vendors were great met lots of people and thought that DU did a great job. I even took time to stop and see Tom Knapp shooting exhibition.

Had a heck uv a time....only problem was
couldn't see all that was there!! Fired a
few rounds through some nice guns & managed
to break a respectable # of clays. Went in
to cool off & listen to some of the calling
contest (2-man).
Was real glad to meet Goosebruce & Chance
at the HRC booth & demo.
I think I picked up some good info while there... a lead on a new lab pup &
joined Delta Waterfowl .
Should've gone back Sunday, but didn't make it----Next year, I'm goin for the whole weekend

Boy the demo was a lil shakey! hehehe. At least rowdy dog made me look good. Shudda been there sunday, when chance decided to 'influence' the demo by throwing a bird when he got good and damn ready, not when it was supposed to be! bwhahahaha. He'll NEVER live that down. travis

It was HOT! Wish DU would move the date back a month or two.
