I need to find out where Charlie gets those live mallards. I will try to call him today sometime, but if you know where he gets them let me know. By the way...those direction you gave me were good except for the bridge that was out on the cut through road from 14 to 25. We were able to get around it, but I was squirmin when we went across the bridge. I don't know why they had it closed. It held me up, but if I had not had 4-wheel drive I would have been in bad shape cause I had to go around and over to big dirt mounds used to block the road. The bottom line is that we made it though.

Thrasher, charlie gets his ducks from a guy in arkansas named Dutch, he raises them comercially, I don't his phone number, but I know charlie does. You also might want to get a hold of big lou, he could probably tell where to get them around jackson.

I'm sorry about the bridge, I didn't know it was out myself until saturday night when I went down to the my camp. I enjoyed meeting you and your girlfriend, it always nice to meet people that are interested in duck dogs. Just from what I saw saturday you are going to have a nice dog, her desire is surely there and she really liked that live duck. I strongly recommend getting into the local retriever club in jackson, charlie & myself are members as well as big lou, we are having our annual meeting this saturday at kerney park out in flora and we are always looking for new members, that would be something else to ask big lou about, he can tell you exactly how to get out there from where you live. I talked to Charlie last night and he is going to help me get some ducks. I think I am going to have to work Sat, but if I can get away I am going to come out to Kearney. Charlie told me about that Sat. and gave me the details last night.
