Anniversary Tomorrow But I'll Be In Memphis, Woops!

Our wedding anniversary is tomorrow, I forgot and I'm leaving for Memphis in the morning and won't return until Sunday night. The wife broke the "news" to me when I got home. I guess that the duck-hunting tunnel vision focused on the DU Festival and nothing else. So what should I get her? Camo bikini, Cheetah's T-shirt, pink acrylic duck call, man I'm screwed. She hadn't planned on going with me and I hope she's still there when I get back.

My safe return with $$$ has appeased the jade goddess for now. I forsee many fashion laden exits from the mall soon, fully accessorized of course. Whew! That was a close one, or was it. This will come up again, and again, arrgghhh.

Oh well, I got a nice Gaston duck call and a Duck Commander autographed poster & hat. [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]

The scariest part of the trip wasn't stepping back inside when I got home but trying to make it out of darktown while my my oxygen sensors under the hood (or wherever) began crapping out, [img]images/smiles/icon_eek.gif[/img] , but I was able to limp on to the motel, then disconnected the battery for 15 minutes and was able to make it through the weekend and back home with little trouble.
Why was I in darktown you ask? And I know you would, well I thought coming up through 78 to 176 to I-240 was a great idea until sputter poop, sputter sputter gasp, started happening. [img]images/smiles/icon_mad.gif[/img] (I told the jade goddess a much different story of barely escaping with my life, shootin' and re-loadin' while running, flames coming over the windsheild, etc. to build sympathy, of course).
