time for some new waders

Postby teul2 » Mon Dec 05, 2005 11:23 am

After about 5 years of abuse, i need some new waders.
These $75 rockys that I bought at the Mossy Oak Outlet back in the day have finally dryrotted in the boot. No way to fix it.

Who has the best prices on waders.
I need some size 13 neo. that have the brush tough outside on them.

I'll be shopping soon too as my Hodgeman's are leaking where the boot meets the wader! :( Sounds like ebay might be the place to look!

do not get the redheads from basspro. hunted with a guy that bought the $170 ones friday night from bass pro. Hunted for no more than an hour in some flooded buckbrush. Poked a hole in his boot.

No trouble out of my Redheads and have had them for 2 years. They're warm and the ankles aren't stiff in them. The neoprene goes all the way down to your ankle. Easy walking. You can poke a hole in any of the brands.

I'd start on eBay and go from there.

Lacrosse Super-Tuffs if you can find them, perferably in king size, adds a couple of inches to the inseam and chest. I've got a guy out of Alabama that I get my through, will see if I can look him up on ebay and let you know.

screw some hodgeman's. bought a pair about a three weeks ago. used them last sat. morning. by the time i got to the duck hole, they were already leaking. its crappy construction if you ask me. i talked to them everyday last week. ive got some new ones on the way today. hopefully they wont try to stick me with paying for both pairs. if they dont give me a new pair free, ill never own another pair of hodgemans!!!!
