It's Hammertime!!!!!!!!!!! (Pics)

Postby Bill Collector » Fri Dec 02, 2005 7:14 am

This was the best hunt I have ever been on. You know you are having a good hunt when you can pick out the birds you want to shoot.

Snapp runs an outstanding operation and I recommend you try him out. Just to show you how much he cares about the quality of your hunt, he knew we were handicap with Don Miller as our leader so Snapp watched us through binoculars and called Don numerous times to tell him what he was doing wrong. Now that's a guide. :D :D :D

The duck were thick.

It's satsuma time. I didn't realize that everyone didn't know what a satsuma was. Trip really needs to get out more. :D

Man, I wish I was at work. This is my friend Matt Goetz (betcha mispronounced his last name) from Mandeville/Chalmette. His family was hit extremely hard by Katrina and he really needed this.

Here ducky, ducky, ducky.

This was our answer to the "No Robo Duck" law. He did a great job.

They were having a sale on Russian ice breakers, so we bought one.

Thanks for posting the pics, Kev. I enjoyed hunting with you, Matt and Cash. We will definately do it again. Also, a BIG thanks to Snapp for putting us on the birds. It was a fun two days. I wish I could push rewind and do it all over again. 8) :D :D

Thanks for the kind words guys. Y'all were a good time and excellant hunters ... except for ole Don Miller

Say, does he polish that bald head with something? After meeting ole Don, I now understand why he always talks about my ponytail ... he can't grow one

Wish every hunt was like the ones y'all had and while we try, ya just never know. HOWEVER, the pit you shot the first day, shot out by 10 a.m. this morning ... but they had parked their four wheelers where I told them :P Been saving the one you shot the second day ... going to pop it tomorrow a.m. and it looks about like it did when you spotted it the first day!!!

Hope to get y'all back again some day.
