P31?

I took a flight on a twin engine beech up onto Sand Mountain in Alabama yesterday that I was afraid I was not gonna walk away from. I need to swear off small planes

my little brother is a fly-boy and he scares the he## out of me..... but then again, i get a birds eye view of the farm... maybe that is why he can out-shoot me on birds on the wing.... I'll get him back.......haha....

P-38 Lightning, in close pursuit by A6M5 Zeros! That painting is of 475th Fighter Group Lightnings based in South Pacific.
Y'all have probably seen these planes in this next pic on History Channel. F4U-1A Corsairs..made famous by Pappy Boyington and the Black Sheep of VMF-214. Japanese called 'em "whistling death" because of the sound the wind made as it passed through the oil cooler vents in the leading edge of the wings.

Everybody take time to thank a veteran on this Memorial Day. They gave up their lives so that we could be free!

That P38 looks like he's in a world of trouble with a zero on his 6 that tight! Hope he had the altitude to out dive him, cause he sure couldn't out turn him!
