caller,

He told me he was pumping.....when I went out Wed to take my layout boats to the field, he pumped alright...about enough water to get my feet wet if I was barefoot!...now he is out of town all weekend, and I am o/w a place to hunt! I am fine with it... but I have a 10 y/o son that isn't coping so well.

I assure you...we WILL have a meeting of the minds Monday!

We were far short of the limit but it was still nice to get back out there. The ducks we killed were proly local ducks. We didnt see the amount of woodies we saw last year.

2 hunters this mornin got 6 mallards, 4 gadwalls and 2 wood ducks.
5 hunters this afternoon got 14 gadwalls, 4 mallards, 3 wood ducks and 4 green wingers.
Never seen gadwalls so stupid and so many like this afternoon, saw good many mallards and way too many wood ducks.

I watched the refuge fill up with birds when the shooting started in the surrounding fields.
