I have heard that a lot of people are cursing the 391 Urika. These changed the stock and forearm, removed the little hump, and reworked the recoil system, I believe. The wally world 390 doesn't have the engraving, that why it's cheaper, but I bought the gun to hunt with, no to look pretty.

Hey, by the way, I have one of those Cajun Guide calls, never knew what it was, until you showed yours to me.....all the writing had been rubbed off.

When 'ya goin' home? 'Thought I'd be rid of you, by now.

Thanks for everybody's thoughts.. I have went with something completely diffrent. I bought the Franchi 912 variomax... I love the way the gun feels more so than any others.. Talked to several people with them, and it has no problem ejecting the low brass stuff! Now its time to bust hell out of some greenheads!

Good Luck and good shooting! Post up at the end of the season and let us know how the gun did. Franchi has made some really dependalbe long recoil action guns in the past. A lot of us would be interested to see how the new gas guns work out.

Once again GH22 speaks without knowing anything about the subject. I just bought my wife a 391 and it shoots and cycles better than both my 12 & 20 390's!!! Trust me GH22 you don't want to get into a gun battle with GC. I've been there!
