Prayers needed update,

Postby Doc & Nash » Thu May 16, 2002 6:17 pm

About amonth ago I requested that you remeber a friend of mine daughter who has cancer in your prayers, THANK YOU!!! Last week a bone marrow donor was found in Cincanatti and he is a perfect match 100%.. And the good news is that he agreed to go through with the surgery.

This should take place within the next two months.

Jullian, has been taking cemo for the past month and she is doing great. She spent one month in Vanderbilts children hospital and is know home. The Make-A-Wish foundation sent her and her family to Disney World last week and she has not stop talking about it yet.

Again thank you,

Trey

That's really great news. I hope her and her family do great with the surgery. I can speak from first hand experience about your child and cancer. It was the hardest hing I know I have ever went through in my life. She is doing great now gonna be a JR in high schooll and straight A's too. My hope is that none of you will ever have too find out what it is like for you or your family. Hug your kids every chance you get for we know not what tommorrow brings for you or them. May God be with all of you each day and every day and that family too!

The power of prayer is truely awesome! Even more so, prayer in mass, as it comes for the great guys at this site. I believe that if we stop to think about it, we are all living proof that God answers prayers! I know I am! As is your friend Julian! Thanks for the update and be sure to tell her that we are all still think of her and praying for her!

Cookm, I'll think about your daughter's friend tonight as I walk for the Relay for Life, the fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Last year, my school system raised $1,200,000 for research. No, that's not a mistake. This year, our goal is $2M! I lost my brother, at the age of 46, to cancer, and I've lost two teachers in the last five years. It is serious business! By the way, I'm walking two legs of the 24 hr. relay tonight...from 12 midnight till 4:00 AM. So, a little prayer for me and my old legs might be in order, too!
