??Alligators in DeSoto Co???

Postby Super Black Eagle » Wed Nov 16, 2005 7:48 am

My folks said there was a story on the Memphis news last night about a horse being eaten by an alligator in DeSoto Co.

Did any of you see this, and can you find me a link to the story. I find this real hard to believe, but then again my folks have never been ones to make stuff up.

If this is true we have got to do some relocation stuff. I have been know to swim in good ole Arkabutla before, and something about swimming with a gator big enough to eat a small horse AIN'T COOL!

It is, also, possible that I made all of this up on my own; as I had a couple of Jack and Cokes last night.

Any help jogging my memory would be great.

If a gator bit or ate my horse I wouldn't call a soul...least of all the TV station.

They said all they found of the colt was some hair and some bones.

If somebody has a link to the story, could you send it to me please

This link will take you to the story....nothing CONFIRMED, but horses sure are disappearing...???? Look at the "top video" section or whatever it's called...something about alligator attacks...the first 20 seconds of it are telling about when some extremely stupid shows will be re-aired, but after that it goes into the gator report.

I suspect there is a pack of dogs involved somewhere in this deal. Gators may have consumed a dead colt, but a gator didn't rip a grown horse in the brisket.

that kinda makes me nervous! I hunt with a Boykin, a 2 foot gator could get her.

Just absolutely nuts! First cottonmouths, now gators.

you know they ain't got either one up here. This place is lookin better and better.

Saw this on the news last night, in fact...Channel 5 reported that it was around Red Banks.
