Softcall, this shot couldn't possibly have been in your little place an hour south of mine, could it? We didn't have a "black sky" all of last season!

Those mallards sure do have long necks.

I think I'd place them in the category of goosimus maximus.

If those really are mallards, I can easily say that that's more than I saw all season!

I did see skies like that for three solid weeks full of snows, blues, and specks. I guess there were so many birds in the air that the mallards couldn't see my decoys

It's not in South America or IL but remember this photo the next time you hear that we don't have any ducks. Seven years ago - these birds weren't there. This is in the Central flyway. Our ducks (IMHO) are shifting flyways to some extent.

them's UFO's. recognize the pixture from the Maurrey show where he done interviewed the riter of that Inquirey magnazine artikle. Called it the el-nine-yoyo effect that messed up ours weather. Them ailiens, who did experiments on our women, were in cahoots with Duck United in Illinoise spreading corn from their spacecraft to keep the ducks in the north this past year. I knowed it all along.

I hear ya judge - I can even see the red eyes on them. ooops! I forgot, those locusts only come every 13 years so I guess next year is going to be kinda slow. Don't stomp on em! - they'll lower the limit for sure!
