River level

Does anyone know what level the river has to be to get into eagle lake. I was thinking about going over there bass fishing, and I know the river is very high and rising. Any help would be appreciated.

How will this crest affect Lake Bruin in St. Joe, LA. Does the river feed into it and affect its height?

The river is cut off from eagle lake. The water may get over the highway on the way to the lake, but it cannot get into the lake.

The river will not get into Eagle. The only way it will effect the lake is that they open the locks at muddy bayou to help relieve the flooding in the south delta.
In 1997 the river crested at 49' and the only problem was you had to take the levy to get to the lake since eagle lake rd. was flooded.

As of today they are predicting a crest at 45' on 5/31.

If any one knows what river stage that puts eagle lake rd. under, that would be helpful. I plan on spending Mem. weekend over there and the river is supposed to be at 43'????
