As hard as it is to believe. I have actually been working all day today. I feel like I have been hibernating with all of the school work I have had to do. Wouldn't know what the outside of my computer room looked like if you showed it to me. You going to DU great outdoors festival this year? We already have our room reservations. Can't wait to get away for a couple of days.

Big Bear,
I wasn't able to get a p.m. to go through to you so all I was wanting to know was when you guys think would be a good age for me to start bringing my dog out to work with ya'll.

Thrasher, I think you are looking for Big Lou. He and I have worked our dogs together before, in the blind and at the lake in our neighborhood. How old is your dog? You are welcome to bring the dog out to our lake whenever you want. I haven't taken maggie out there in a while, but she needs a good swim. There is also a big field out there to work them in.
Big Lou, Of course I am going to DUGOF. Already made the reservations at the hotel. We will go skiing Friday morning, and then leave right after lunch. We will come back Sunday after the show. Looking forward to it. Maggie is ready. I am supposed to get sunflowers in the ground this week at a friends, and try to do some brown top a little later. Call me sometime before the DU thing and maybe we can meet up there.

Where do you live? Why don't you bring her by and let her swim with maggie and watch her retrieve. That brought maggie around. She used to not care at all about it.

I live out on Shiloh Rd. Where you guys do most of your training. I have the perfect place. We have a large lake and fields, but like you said I need to let her watch some older dogs.

The pup is 4 months old and not really showing any interest in retrieving at this time. I am just now getting her where she will swim in the lake over her head. For the longest time she would not get over her head, but I think we are over that now.

I will be in Detroit, MI from wednesday utill thursday. I will then be leaving for a fishing trip for the weekend to Cocodrie, LA. I will be back Monday for the week and splitting my time between deer camp durring the day and dog training in the afternoon. Go to start getting Hunter ready for his run in Master and Bear ready for his run in Senior. Our planting day this weekend went to hell, but Paul Warren is out there bushhoggin the sumer plots and a nice size dove field at #19 for some Millet and sunflowers. I got some wild rice to plant in the pines by black lake. Fostail millet for a few select spots. all we need now are some ducks! Lets hook up for the show. I want to take you by my buddy at the Primos tent and show you that new Acrylic wench! It's Sweeeeeeeet!

Man, you are busy. Let me know about the planting. I have a small tiller that we can take to some of those out of the way holes! Have you heard how many turkeys they killed at the camp this year? Anyone kill one bigger than mine? We definately need to get together at the DU thing. I will probably take maggie to the lake this afternoon.
