entry express

Postby skuna » Thu Nov 10, 2005 8:40 pm

Anybody on here ever used entry express for AKC stuff?

I saw somewhere that it will be available for HRC stuff before long. Looks like it would be worth a try and may take a little work off the HT secretary. It would also eliminate mailing premiums and then the hunt fills up before yours gets there.

Its the cats meow for akc stuff. But it isnt really friendly for hrc format, cut off entries & swapping dogs out & day of entry hunts. Also, if an hrc club spent an extra $3 a dog for an entry service, most of the time itd cost them money to run dogs. I doubt you'll see it for regular hrc hunts anytime soon. travis

I've used it - it's extremely easy & user-friendly. As soon as you enter you get an auto e-mail verifying your entry & that the fee has been paid. Then you get a receipt e-mail. The catalogs are really nice too.

The guy running it said it wasn't set up for HRC & would take some work to get it there. He hoped it would eventually be worked out though.

I love it and use it when I get to go run a trial, which is very seldom this year with the hurricane. It is really nice for dummies like me that let the closing date sneak up on them. Vern

Isn't that Shanyne M's deal? Sounds like it is a good deal for ones Travis listed.
It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

We love it. It keeps a file on all our dogs, we just pick and click the event we want to run. Saves a TON of time. No more spending all evening handwriting a bunch a entries, and you don't have to play the "postal service game." Between EE and Kennel Up, we can spend more time on the dogs and less time on paper work.

Entry Express is an online entry service for AKC Retriever Events. You sign up your dog, then find the events you want to enter, click on them and pay. And that's it, you're entered into the test without having to fill out a form or write a check and mail it and then having to worry about if it will get there in time!
