Bass Fishing

Thought I would give you guys a fishing report. If you like to catch bass and a lot of them the drive over to Lake Charlie Capps off of Hwy 8 is well worth the drive. Not only will you catch fish but the water in the lake is a color like I haven't seen in MS. I fished the lake this past Saturday and Sunday and the fishing was great! Saturday we caught 9 fish in the morning and 12 in the afternoon. On Sunday we were a little late getting to the lake, to many cold ones Saturday , but it didn't seem to matter. We caught 28 in about 4 hours. Tha biggest fish weighed was 5lbs. The majority of the fish were in the 2 lbs. range but we did catch some bigger ones. I did hook into a 7+lbs. but he got off at the boat. I look forward to Memorial Day weekend when I can get back to this lake.
