Do you know anyone that is going to the FOP convention in Pheonix Ar. next week? I am leaving Sat morning for the Convention. I was just wondering if someone that may be on the forum may know someone who will be there. Later.Baldpate

Man, you seen the weather report from out there recently? Take your sunscreen, man, and a big straw hat! One thing you'll find out when you get there is that it is the brownest place I've ever been! Hard on the eyes for an old Southern boy used to trees! I looked on a map and saw "Tonto National Forest" out northeast of town. So, being a big Lone Ranger fan and liking the woods, I got in the rental car and drove out there. There wasn't anything over six feet tall in the whole Tonto Nat'l Forest except for that big ole cactus that grows out there. I was real disappointed! Drive out to Tempe, home of Arizona State. It's a pretty little town right on the river. Otherwise, I hope you like sand, cactus, scrub brush, and RV trailers. Cause that's all you liable to see. Oh yeah, when they tell you, "But, it's dry heat." Don't believe them. When it's 110, I don't care how dry it is: that's too blame hot!
