Them Camino boys are something else... We pulled up to one of our places last year and them boys were in there set up and ready to hunt our place..... I couldn’t believe my eyes when we pulled up there and saw that gray thing setting there!! They were trying to tell us that they had permission from the landowners!!! What tha.... ???

Of course Po Monkey Lounger quickly corrected them... He put his "attorneying" lingo to work real quickly on them boys and they made out of there purdy dang quick...

I was worried about em coming back and damaging our vehicles....ruined my darn hunt :x
Quack....

Quack.....

Bang......

I talked to em at the widespread show this weekend in Jackson. It sounds like their getting fired up about it being a low water year. They are trying out a new duck dog for this year (blk lab/rottwlr/boykin spaniel). Havnt seen it yet but damm if it doesnt sound like a ugle little turd.
When it come's to duck calling and duck killing its the indian not the arrow!

Ive always heard stories about them, but ive never really talked to anyone who has had em do somethin to em. Anyone on here ever had the El Camino crew actually do somethin to them. For emample, my buddy says they stole 2 deer stands from him, and when he said something to em about it, they came back that afternoon and burned 2 of his truck tires. I say bullchit, but then again ive never ran into them boys.

I witnessed them scare the chit out of two guys from South Carolina at a public boat ramp two years ago. One of the Crew had words with the Carolina boys and returned from the El Camino with a iron pipe with a bicycle chain attached. He made a few swings at him and SC boys left in a hurry. One of the Carolina boys was a lawyer and showed back up at the landing later with a game warden and deputy sherriff, but the El Camino Crew had already limited out and left. They asked me who they were. I laughingly said I thought the Crew was from Alabama.
I also witnessed that crazy booty dog of theirs damn near kill a boykin spaniel at the ramp early one morning. Some hunters from Georgia had the spaniel leashed in the boat and that pit-chessy cross jumped in the boat with him and ripped him a new "turd-cutter" before anyone could stop it. I saw the guys from Georgia again last year and one of them told me that his dog lived but he doesn't hunt anymore, his wife has made a house dog out of him because of what happened. Another thing that happened that I didn't witness but know that it happened was they set a van on fire at the Greentree area three years ago. No one could prove it was them, but it happened none the less. I know them. I keep my distance when setting up. I personally have never had any conflicts with them. For some reason they have it out for hunters that come here from out of state.

I caught up to the ECC this summer on the Tallahatchie River. I was able to record some of our conversation:

El Camino Crew Taped Conversation

Unfortunately, the Corps opened the gates on Arkabutla as I was leading them to the bank. My boat overturned, their boat washed away and the Crew escaped.

Until next time.

One of these days this crew is gonna mess with the wrong folks and get the chit beat out of them. There is always someone out there bigger and better than you.

That aint right letting there dog jump on another man hunting dog, if it had been mine, that chessie might have met the business end of my 40 cal.
