engine trouble

looking for a flex plate for a '74 mercury 50 hp. they don't make parts anymore for the motor and i sure as hell don't want to have to get a new one. anybody have an idea where i can dig one up? [img]images/smiles/icon_confused.gif[/img]

Don't really know if they are similar, but I have a 65 horse Mercury 1967 model that runs but I don't have the controls and would like to sell. Click and e-mail if interested.
