I realize I'm in Ga. but I do hunt y'alls great state also. Down here I'm seeing a good bit of ducks using the farm ponds and beaver swamps we hunt. We've got a great deal of Woodies and more than usual Mallards. One one pond we even have some Ruddy ducks and coots. We normally don't have this many ducks this early. Most are probably local ducks. One possible reason could be the lack of water. Most of my spots average 2-4ft depth - they are now 1-2 ft. There are alot of dry ponds around. We've got three pons right now that we could limit out on Woodies and Mallards if the season were to open tomorrow.
