Peewee, the best thing I can tell you to do is go to http://www.mdwfp.com/forums/, they have a Mississippi Pond Farm Management Forum, if you join and post on there, they should be able to tell you all you need to know. They may have already discussed the topic.

I don't know how to make the link work, but cut and paste it and then go to it.

Only Suggestions:

>Sonar AS (Fluridone)-Use 0.5 to 1.0 quarts per surface acre. Dilute with water and spray evenly over pond surface.

>Diquat-¾ of a gallon plus 8 ounces of surfactant or non-ionic spreader/sticker plus 50 gallons of water. Mix and spray evenly over plants.

>Triploids Grass Carp. Triploid means sterile (will not reproduce)
Periodic winter drawdowns can also be effective and economical in controlling many aquatic weeds

Yes, but, Judge, will you dismiss the court case where EPA fines Joe Sprayer for spraying Roundup, which is not labeled for aquatic use, in a pond? Rodeo is Roundup with a water label. Stinks don't it? Roundup has also been know to knock out the bloom in ponds...then you get the dreaded white-belly phenomenon.
